Every Friday I share one real money mistake I made — and explain why I made it. Each post has the same parts: the mistake, what it cost me in rupees, the mental habit behind it, and the one change I made to stop repeating it. Not advice. Just what happened.

The running tab · what honesty costs

Every mistake so far,
in rupees.

Every post ends with a cost — not what the mistake cost on the day, but what it cost over the years once you add up the compounding. These are my own numbers.

Anatomy of a confession · 8 slides

What goes on each slide.

Every post is a carousel of eight slides, and each slide does one job. Tap through to see what goes on each one.

The booth · your turn

Six questions. One habit you didn't know you had.

No one sees your answers. Answer honestly and you'll get the money habit you lean on most.

Question 1 of 6

The habit you lean on most

Why this works on you

The mistake isn't the point. The habit is.

One bad decision is just a story. The same bad decision made over and over, in slightly different forms, is a habit — and habits run quietly in the background until you name them.

Friday Confessional is me naming my own habits out loud, with the numbers attached. This test just checks whether you share any of them.

House rules
  • Every mistake is mine, not a made-up example.
  • Every cost is shown in rupees, with the maths visible.
  • Every habit is explained in plain words.
  • One fix per post, not a list of seven.
  • No product names. No affiliate links. Nothing to buy.

The rap sheet · biases charged so far

Every habit I've covered so far.

“Covered” means I've already written a post about it. “Coming” means it's a habit I still need to own up to.

Your receipt · run your own number

What is your small thing
actually costing you?

Not just the price. The price plus what that money could have grown into if you'd invested it instead. Enter one habit and see the full cost.

This is a future-value estimate, not a prediction, and not advice. Returns are assumed and never guaranteed. The point isn't that you should never spend — it's that the number has a second half you've never been shown.
